My story.
MY STORYHi, I’m Christina, an internationally working photographer
& direcor of photography (DOP) / videographer.
I’m based in Munich & Austria, available worldwide,
specialized in fashion, beauty & advertising.
I love to capture the energy that’s happening in front of my lens. Wheter it’s a stunning personality, the latest fashion or a beautiful light situation, a gorgeous sunset scenery. Photography has always been fascinating for me. I remember, growing up in Austria - Linz - taking photos as a kid with my first film camera making my parents buy all the prints I took of my stuffed toys.
Right after finishing school I pursued an education in photography and assisted several international working photographers, working as light assistant & digital assistant whilst building up my portfolio.
how i work
Working with people in front of my lens is what I love the most. I like the energy it creates and that connection between the person I’m shooting and myself. I enjoy a relaxed and fun atmosphere on set. It’s important to listen to my clients visions and working as a team to make that vision a reality.
Moving image has always interested me and I love the photographic aspect I can bring into video as well but also it enables me to expand the story beyond a single frame.
travel photography
I’ve always enjoyed to travel, however I seem to always have to keep going. Staying at one place only to dip my feet in the pool is nice, but I seek and love the adventure. Exploring, hiking, sleeping in the car - I’m down for it. Seeing different cultures, people in their everyday life, just crossing the street in beautiful lighting. Sunrays glistening through a tree while the leafes are moving in a soft windbreeze, the faint colors of a mountainside in the morning light, these are the things that inspire me.
